ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE IN TONDOWONGSO GAYAM VILLAGE

Archaeological site in TONDOWONGSO-GAYAM VILLAGE , sub-district of Gurah, district of Kediri, Province of East Java Indonesia. Have been found archaeological building in the form of portal and some arca(statue).There are 6 arca(statue) which have been found. to be found also stair go to wellspring which is transparent water. Arca(statue) structured concrete building wall from brick,thick of brick about 130 cm. Wide of archaeological site about 120 m X 80 m. Name arca(statue) are Brahma arca(statue),God of Durga arca(statue), cow nandi alias andini arca(statue),God of Syiwa arca(statue), Agasetya lingga arca(statue)and Mahakala arca(statue). According to expert of archaeological site is estimated ommission of monarchic of Kadiri at century of XII, a period of where switchover of monarchic in middle java to monarchic in east java. More interesting in the reality some object of archaeological which have been found to have different age. This designate this archaeological site have experienced of to renovate. There are some other archaeological site which there are in district of Kediri, that is Telogowangi temple,Surowono temple,Totokerot arca(statue).
